Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of tender-narratives.club (the "Service"), a platform for creating, sharing, and collaboratively editing projects (hereinafter "Plays") and their components (hereinafter "Figures").

1. Account Registration

To use the core functions of the Service, you must create a user account. Registration requires a valid email address, a display name (username), and a password.

During registration, you must agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

2. Content, Ownership, and Permissions

2.1. Content Creation
Authenticated users can create "Plays" (e.g., projects, stories, collections) and add "Figures" (e.g., entries, posts, media elements) to these Plays.

2.2. Ownership and License

• The user who creates a "Play" is referred to as its "Owner".
• The user who creates a "Figure" is referred to as its "Creator".

By submitting content (Plays or Figures), you grant the operator of the Service a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, modify, reproduce, and distribute your content to the extent necessary for the operation, promotion, and provision of the Service. You retain all other ownership rights to your content.

2.3. Permissions and Collaboration

• The permission system is a core feature of the Service:
• Play Owners have full control over their Play. This includes the right to edit its details (title, description), set a password, and delete the entire Play (including all Figures contained within it).
• Figure Creators have the right to edit or delete their own Figures, subject to the access rules of the Play (see 3.1).
• Users can "fork" a "Figure" to create a new Play, of which they become the Owner. This new Play will contain a copy of the content and files from the original Figure.

3. Access Control and Notifications

3.1. Password Protection
Play Owners can protect their Play with a password. To view a password-protected Play or to add/edit Figures, the password may need to be entered in the current session.

3.2. Email Notifications
By contributing to a Play, you may be added to its list of "Players" (contributors). The Service may send email notifications to Players about new activities (e.g., new Figures).

You can disable the receipt of these notifications at any time in your profile settings.

4. User Conduct and Community Guidelines

By using this Service, you agree not to submit any content that:

• Contains hate speech, threats, or harassment.
• Incites violence or promotes discrimination.
• Violates applicable laws (e.g., copyright, trademark, defamation).
• Contains spam, advertisements, or malicious software.
• Impersonates another person or misrepresents your identity.

The operator of the Service reserves the right to remove content or block users who violate these rules.

5. Moderation

User-submitted content may be moderated manually or automatically.
The operator of the Service is not obligated to publish all submitted content and may reject or remove content at their sole discretion (this includes the rights of Play Owners as defined in 2.3).

6. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

The operator of the Service is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or reliability of user-submitted content.
Use of the Service is at your own risk.
To the extent permitted by law, the operator of the Service excludes all liability for damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.

7. Termination

The operator of the Service reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to the Service or remove submitted content at any time without notice, especially for violations of these Terms or legal obligations.

8. Conflict Resolution and Jurisdiction

In the event of a dispute related to these Terms or the use of this site, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably.

9. Changes to the Terms

The operator of the Service may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
